As a counsellor specialising in attachment trauma, my professional journey has been driven by a deep commitment to understanding and healing the intricate bonds that shape our lives. I firmly believe that our early experiences with attachment profoundly influence our emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. It is this belief that fuels my passion for helping individuals navigate the complex terrain of attachment trauma. My fascination with attachment theory began during my academic pursuits, where I immersed myself in the works of pioneers such as John Bowlby, Mary Ainsworth, Dan Hughes, Kim Golding, Allan Schore and Bruce Perry. I also follow trauma experts such as Gabor Mate, Bessel van der Kolk, Dan Siegal, Deb Dana, and Stephen Porges.

In my practice, I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities, tailoring my approach to each individual's unique needs and experiences. Whether it is through person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural techniques, mindfulness practices, or somatic experiencing, my goal is to provide clients with the tools and insights they need.

I understand that approaching a counsellor can occasionally be a big step. My goal is for you to feel at ease talking about what is currently causing you difficulty and to then receive the support you need. If you have any inquiries about counselling or my practice, please let me know and we can discuss this via a free 15 min introductory session.
