Counselling Therapy

The Counselling Process
Counselling is a collaborative journey—a shared commitment to working together safely within an honest, compassionate union. It takes courage to take that first step, so acknowledge how well you’ve done just getting this far.
As a client myself, I know the feeling. The discomfort and dis-ease I carried eventually became so heavy that it completely overshadowed any anxiety about opening up to a counsellor. Learning to understand myself, what shaped me, and how that influences my life was one of the wisest choices I ever made.
Whether you are looking to understand yourself better, process past trauma, build healthier relationships, boost your self-esteem, or manage anxiety and depression, you are welcome here.
Whatever you bring to our sessions, this is a safe place to lay it down. And as an ethically minded therapist, if your needs ever fall outside my skill set, I will always guide you toward the right alternative support.
How We Work Together
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from several theoretical influences to tailor therapy specifically to you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here—just a supportive space designed to nurture your spirit and help you navigate your personal challenges.
My practice is rooted in a person-centered foundation, offering a safe, judgment-free environment where we can calmly explore what is disrupting your life. From there, we can blend in more directive, solution-focused tools—working together to agree on practical strategies that enhance your well-being as you move forward.
Healing and growth should feel accessible. Because of that, I offer concessionary rates for counselling and supervision depending on your circumstances and availability.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?
